Final Title I School District Allocations for SY 2001-02

Below is a link to an Excel file of the U.S. Department of Education's official Title I school district allocations for school year 2001-02. These reflect the $161 million in supplemental funds appropriated by Congress in late July. State-by-state breakouts of district listings are also available below.
Readers are cautioned that, in many cases, final district allocations will be less than these amounts.
State educational agencies (SEAs) must deduct mandated state administrative and school improvement costs. Also, in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota and Oklahoma, the SEA has permission to pool allocations for districts under 20,000 population and suballocate the funds according to federally approved poverty data of their own choosing.
SEAs will communicate the definitive amounts to their districts over the next few weeks.
